TiviMate setup: playlists, Xtream Codes and TV guide

Before you begin

You need a compatible Android TV or Fire TV device, the TiviMate app and playlist details from a service you are authorized to use. Keep the server address, username and password exactly as provided.

Install TiviMate

1. Open the app store on your Android TV device and search for TiviMate IPTV Player.
2. Confirm the developer and app name before installing.
3. Launch the player and choose to add a playlist.

Add your authorized playlist

Select the connection format supplied by your provider. Xtream Codes login is common because it separates the server URL, username and password into clear fields.

1. Choose “Xtream Codes” or the matching playlist type.
2. Enter the server URL without adding spaces.
3. Enter the username and password exactly, including capitalization.
4. Name the playlist so you can identify it later, then continue.

Configure the TV guide

If guide data does not load automatically, open playlist settings and confirm that the supplied EPG source is assigned. Refresh the guide after correcting the time zone.

Organize favorites

Long-press a channel to add it to favorites. Hide unused groups and reorder the remaining categories to reduce scrolling.

TiviMate Xtream Codes setup

For TiviMate Xtream Codes setup, use the separate server, username and password supplied by your service. If you received only a playlist address, do not guess the account fields. Read the M3U comparison before changing the method. TiviMate is a player, not a channel subscription.
